Grampians Challenge 2017 run legs will be sponsored by Athlete’s Foot Horsham

aj 150x108 FotorLess than a month left till Grampians Challenge kicks off in the spectacular Wartook Valley and we’re excited to announce one more sponsor jumped on board in the last moment. Horsham Athlete’s Foot store will provide awards to the fastest across 9 km run. It means if you are a trail runner on 14,7 km run you are still in a draw to win the prize if you overrun multisporters and relay runners across 9 km distance from Zumsteins to Wartook lake.

How cool is that? Now it is not only the whole race honors but also fast and exciting first running leg.

For the Grampains Challenge run leg they are providing:

1st place              2 x $120 prize packs including a sports bag, MyFit pod and performance running socks

2nd place           2x $80 prize packs including a sports bag, running shoe care products and performance running socks

3rd place              2 x $60 prize packs including a sports bag and performance running socks

 

The Grampians Challenge will be held 17th of September in Northern Grampians, two distances are on offer: multisport race consisted of 9 km run, 10 km lake paddle, 35 km mountain bike, and a trail run 14,7 km. Plenty of categories are available, including age groups, SOLO, relay and AR Duo teams of two, when both participants stay together for the entire event. Entry details>>

 

The course is challenging and very spectacular: running leg follows famous Mackenzie falls trail climbing along the main falls and finishes next to pristine Wartook lake. The paddle loop is around 10 km with the start and finish at the same spot. Mountain bike ride follows some rough 4wd trails with overview of Mt Difficult range and the valley. Boroka look out is not far off and those who are not in a hurry might want to have a quick stop. Multisport course details>>
